Overview
As the
Logistics Analyst , you will help enhance product work-flow through support of logistics products that affect production, distribution, and inventory for customers at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC). You will create and review procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Responsibilities Update and revise the technical documents to ensure that the current revisions of technical documents are available to all personnel responsible for use in the repair/maintenance process. Assist the facility manager and logistics supervisor with daily operational planning of shipping/receipt inspections and support for parts inventory control processes. Monitor and report program related fleet casualty reports, conduct data entry for program assets and configuration management of technical documents, document engineering changes, field changes, upgrades, and maintenance action reports.
Qualifications
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required). A Bachelors degree, or a High School Diploma/GED with minimum 6 years of relevant experience. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Knowledge of computer databases and logistics programs (examples: COLTS and DPAS). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
Additional desired experience and skills
Active DoD Secret security clearance.
Location and requirements
This is an on-site role 5 days a week, MondayFriday, at the Newport, RI site. The position is contingent upon the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. About Serco
