Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in a variety of machinery, including mixing, slicing, and bagging equipment. This role involves performing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and production machines. The ideal candidate will follow diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to resolve malfunctions, locate problem sources, and make necessary repairs. Responsibilities also include fabricating parts, preparing mechanical maintenance reports, and interpreting blueprints. Shift Description: 2nd Shift - 3:00pm - 11:00pm 3rd Shift - 11:00pm - 7:00am Responsibilities: Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machinery. Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and production machines. Follow diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to resolve malfunctions. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. Fabricate parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Read electrical schematics and troubleshoot 110 VAC, 240/480 VAC 3 phase. Interpret blueprints and work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Conduct welding and fabrication. Troubleshoot PLCs. Job Type & Location: This is a permanent position based out of Youngstown, OH. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $55000.00/yr. Medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO.
