What we're trying to build We are building clients and SDKs to provide customers with access to our platform for AI training and inference. The span of projects includes infrastructure orchestration SDK, on‑device ML inference SDK, and end‑user clients for data collection and platform interactions.
What you'd specifically be working on The candidate will join the team and contribute to current end‑user client projects, with opportunities to work on macOS and mobile targets depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and develop sophisticated iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
Integrate webAI’s distributed AI technology into iOS apps, optimizing for local execution.
Design and implement efficient, thread‑safe code for AI model inference on iOS devices.
Collaborate with teams to define project requirements and execute them independently.
Work with backend teams (Rust, Go) to integrate cross‑language functionalities.
Contribute to our AI platform by building innovative applications and navigating complex challenges across various production environments.
Develop and maintain SDK/frameworks for easy integration of webAI technology in iOS apps.
Mentor junior iOS developers and contribute to the technical direction of our mobile strategy.
Requirements
5+ years in Swift development.
4+ years of production SwiftUI experience.
Familiarity with Xcode, Instruments, and other iOS development tools.
Knowledge of iOS security best practices and privacy considerations.
Solid understanding of network protocols such as MQTT and WSS.
Experience in frontend development and exposure to multiple production environments.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Startup enthusiast, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with distributed systems or edge computing.
Contributions to open‑source Swift projects.
