Job Description Lockheed Martin is seeking a new Electrical Engineering college hire in Orlando, FL. The successful candidate must demonstrate highly innovative approaches to resolving difficult production and design issues. Responsibilities include assisting production and development teams, resolving technical challenges, incorporating engineering changes, updating drawings and assembly parts lists, developing new designs or tools, supporting hardware operations, and providing support to engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and supplier teams.

Basic Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or similar degree.

Proficiency with schematic capture & PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad).

Experienced with simulation tools (LTspice, PSpice, Simulink, NI Multisim or MATLAB).

Hands‑on experience with test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator, signal generator, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, etc.).

Demonstrated successful group collaboration and/or individual project work, ideally in an electrical or design area.

Basic programming experience (C/C++, Python, or embedded C).

Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues, work with system integration issues, design challenges, etc., demonstrated through hands‑on experience.

Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Desired Skills

Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Exposure to a laboratory, design, or testing environment, engaging with hardware hands‑on including soldering, breadboarding, prototype assembly, or similar.

Experience with signal integrity design tools, such as Hyperlynx.

Microelectronics experience at the transistor level.

Experience with troubleshooting and debugging complex electrical systems, including analog and digital circuits.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as IPC, IEEE, VITA, and MIL‑STD.

Experience with Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or similar tools.

Strong understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) principles.

Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principles.
