Position Overview & Responsibilities Responsible for identifying students with communication needs; planning and implementing appropriate research based treatment to minimize adverse impact on student's success; and providing education and direction to school staff, family and related service providers regarding the student's communication needs. Start date : 3/17/25 FTE : 1.0 Contract : 53 contract days (March 17 - June 5, 2026) (approximate dates) (plus potential to start a day early for onboarding / training)
Requirements & Qualifications Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field from an ASHA accredited university is required. MN Educational Speech Language Pathologist license is required. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) is preferred. Prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist is preferred.
Salary & Benefits Wages : Long-Term Substiute Certified Staff Rate with appropriate PELSB subject area Certification from PELSB: $249.55/day.
Benefits : As this assignments longer is logner than 30 contract days it is entitled to District Contribution at the Certified Staff Full-time (1.0 FTE) benefit level with appropriate PELSB certification.
