1. Strategic Project Analysis & Bidding

Decipher the Blueprint : Conduct an exhaustive study, evaluation, and understanding of complex job plans, construction specifications, and technical scope documents.

The Precision Take-Off : Lead the charge in preparing meticulous take‑offs and estimates by researching all contracts, job specifications, and schematic drawings.

Your estimates will be the foundation for project success, accounting for material, labor, logistics, and ensuring alignment with company profit policies.

Secure the Win : Prepare the final, compelling quote and deploy your sales acumen to aggressively secure the sale, transforming estimates into awarded contracts.

Public Sector Scout : Proactively research and identify public bid opportunities for lucrative government and municipal projects.

Doubt Destroyer : Submit any necessary Requests for Information (RFIs) to the job owner to ensure absolute clarity and a risk‑free quote.

2. Product & Process Command

Technical Guru : Maintain a deep, up‑to‑date knowledge of the company's products, services, and technical capabilities, including materials, specifications, functionality, and assembly requirements.

Estimation Integrity : Rigorously document all estimating logic, technical details, and analysis using MS Excel or industry‑standard estimating software.

Continuous Insight : Monitor overall sales and product trends to quantify the value and market position of various product lines.

3. Sales, Customer Focus & Account Leadership

Relationship Architect : Establish personal rapport with direct decision‑makers and their technical staff within customer, contractor, and government agencies.

High‑Touch Service : Serve as the primary point of contact, expertly responding to customer inquiries, issues, and complaints to ensure complete, raving satisfaction. Proactively manage product returns, replacements, and project scope changes.

Key Account Steward : Manage key account relationships with surgical precision to maximize retention of existing business and aggressively pursue new business opportunities.

Bid Agility : Quickly revise bid documents to accurately reflect any changes in project scope, materials, or technical requirements.

4. Interdepartmental Synergy

Procurement Partner : Collaborate closely with the Purchasing team for the most efficient and cost‑effective procurement of required materials, considering vendor performance, competitive pricing, and critical product certifications.

Logistics & Finance Coordinator : Seamlessly coordinate with internal Warehouse and Accounting departments to ensure accurate inventory levels, timely delivery schedules, and smooth payment processing.

What You Bring : The Winning Profile

Elite Construction Estimating Experience : At least four to six years of successful, hands‑on experience in construction, manufacturing, or a related technical estimating position with direct exposure to complex projects.

Degree of Distinction : Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field is highly preferred.

Sales & Service Power : A minimum of two years of successful experience in sales and customer service within a commercial B2B or B2G sales model.

Estimating & Pricing Mastery : Expert, demonstrable knowledge of construction estimation methodologies, quotation protocol, and advanced pricing strategies.

Blueprint Proficiency : Exceptional ability to read, comprehend, and interpret detailed specifications and trade drawings to fully understand the complete spectrum of job requirements.

Independent Drive : Proven capacity to develop and optimize personal procedures and processes for efficiently managing and completing high‑volume work assignments.

Technical Toolkit : Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications (especially Excel for complex calculations) and strong familiarity with CRM software.
