Manufacturing/Process Engineer
Location: Grapevine, Texas
The ideal Manufacturing/Process Engineer will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles, with a focus on enhancing product quality and reducing production costs. You will be responsible for optimizing and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production workflows, and implementing cost‑saving measures. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify process inefficiencies, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Objectives
Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Conceive, design, develop, and test innovative solutions based on analysis and organizational objectives.
Evaluate new and existing processes, equipment, and materials as an input for scheduling methods, performance metrics, and financial standards.
Uphold the company’s reputation by delivering innovative solutions while adhering to local and regulations.
Manage and conduct employee training for productivity improvement projects, and mentor fellow engineers and technicians.
Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start‑up and certification.
Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data.
Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
Develop the best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
Perform process simulations.
Manage cost and time constraints.
Provide process documentation and operating instructions.
Manage advances robotics to improve capacity, quality and cost.

Responsibilities
Identify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiency during production.
Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root‑cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements.
Design and develop robust manufacturing concepts to simplify and improve processes and ensure best practices.
Create and maintain required documentation for manufacturing processes, including flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancing.
Conduct research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing.
Establish safety procedures for individuals.
Design and plan equipment layout.
Conduct tests and monitor the process performance throughout production.
Troubleshoot problems associated with manufacturing processes.
