Position Summary The Structural Concrete Foreman oversees day-to-day operations for structural concrete projects, ensuring safety, quality, and production standards are met. This position plays a key leadership role in coordinating crews, reading plans, setting forms, pouring, and finishing structural elements such as walls, footings, foundations, and elevated slabs.
Individuals with carpentry experience or those who have worked with formwork, layout, or framing are highly encouraged to apply, as those skills transfer strongly into this position.
What Youll Be Doing
Lead and supervise structural concrete crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
Coordinate daily activities including form setting, reinforcing steel placement, pours, and finishing operations.
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
Ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are ready for each phase of work.
Communicate with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to maintain alignment on schedule and scope.
Maintain accurate documentation such as timesheets, delivery tickets, and daily logs.
Train and mentor crew members to develop skillsets and maintain production standards.
Monitor safety practices and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
Coordinate with concrete suppliers, pump operators, and finishing crews for pour scheduling.
Identify potential field challenges early and provide input on constructability or sequencing.
What Were Looking For
3+ years of structural or commercial concrete experience (field leadership experience).
Proficient in reading blueprints, understanding grades, and layout.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience working with formwork systems, rebar, and structural concrete pours.
Carpentry or framing background strongly desired.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Must be able to manage crews and participate hands‑on when needed.
Bilingual in Spanish is not required.
