You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. for the Manufacturing Engineering group. Our team translates complex engineering blueprints into clear work instructions and continually improves the overall build process using cutting‑edge technologies and automation.
What You Will Be Doing
Translate complex engineering blueprints into easy‑to‑follow work instructions for mechanics and assemblers on the production floor.
Improve the overall build process using advanced technologies and automation.
Troubleshoot and develop new processes for ever‑changing products.
Participate in RCCA, Lean Six Sigma improvement efforts, and develop process improvements to lower cost, increase quality, and deliver a better product faster.
Work a D‑shift position (Thursday–Sunday 4/10s) to support manufacturing operations.

Further Information About This Opportunity This position is in Orlando, Florida. The selected candidate must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a Secret clearance. The facility requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
BS or MS in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
5+ years of production engineering experience with a BS or 3+ years with an MS.
U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain Security clearance.
Desired Skills
Experience writing technical work instructions.
Ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
Experience with SAP / Windchill.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma manufacturing concepts and techniques.
Background in electronics assembly and precision assembly (epoxy dispense, component placement, chip & wire assembly).
Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Additional Information
Remote work: Onsite full‑time at a Lockheed Martin facility.
Work schedule: 4 x 10‑hour day, 3 days off per week.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules, including condensed options.
