Electrical Test & Evaluation Lab Technician
for a 6‑month contract position in the Seattle, WA area. Pay Rate: $29.35/hr | Contract Length: 6 months, possible extension | Location: Seattle, WA (98108) | Desired Start Date: 12/5/2025 (tentative) | Shift: 1st shift 6:00 am – 2:30 pm – overtime is possible | Selected candidates must be a United States citizen and provide their DOB (MM/DD) and complete a COI form via DocuSign in order to be considered.
| Requested Security Clearance: Secret – POST HIRE. Interview Information: Candidate would interview with our lead technician and team via phone – interview/timeline to hire is ASAP. Responsibilities
Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures, and test systems. Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre‑test setup, integration, checkout, and post‑test tear‑down. Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results. Troubleshoots basic laboratory and test‑related problems. Works under close supervision. Tasks and Responsibilities
Obtain appropriate drawings, specifications, documents, and/or sketches, using online computing systems. Perform system installation measurement using general test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, and meters of various types) and troubleshoot if measurements are not within specification. Install, remove, or modify experimental or production aircraft wiring using various mechanical and electrical hand tools to bring wiring to engineering specifications per non‑conformance reports and Boeing specifications. Troubleshoot and repair faults as required. Assist in the development of methods and procedures to diagnose and correct malfunctions when methods and procedures have not been established. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to analyze and calculate circuit values (basic understanding of Ohms law, series and parallel resistance calculations, Faraday’s law of induction, Kirchhoff’s Current Law). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Operate general test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, power supplies, and meters of various types) and interpret results. Knowledge of routing, clamping, tying, connecting and terminating wires and/or wire bundles in electrical systems and assemblies, per the appropriate electrical codes. Ability to troubleshoot using schematics and wiring diagrams to determine faulty components to replace and/or repair. Effectively communicate information. Project / Day‑to‑Day Activities
Support troubleshooting electrical functional test failures in production/factory environments. Top Technical / Software Skills
Strong electrical/electronic background. Ability to calculate series‑parallel resistor networks to resolve cable shield net resistance. Knowledge of airplane wiring and shielding. Ambitious and driven to perform in a high‑stress production environment. Mission mindset. Education / Experience
