Position Overview We are seeking a highly qualified Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on a large‑scale construction project in Brentwood, TN. This role requires a proven safety professional who can ensure compliance with all OSHA standards, company safety programs, and site‑specific requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience, exceptional leadership skills, and a proactive approach to promoting a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures on‑site
Conduct job site inspections, hazard analyses, and safety audits
Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site orientations
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
Maintain OSHA and company documentation and reporting standards
Collaborate with site leadership and subcontractors to maintain compliance
Required Qualifications Candidates must possess at least one of the following certifications or credentials:
Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
Construction Health and Safety Technologist (CHST)
Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST)
Graduate or Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
Safety Trained Supervisor – Construction (STS‑C)
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or a related field
OSHA 500 Trainer Certification
Additional Requirements
Must pass a 10‑panel drug test and background check prior to employment
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Experience managing safety programs in heavy construction or industrial settings
Compensation & Schedule
Pay:
$45–$53 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Stipend:
$178/day worked (8‑hour minimum)
Schedule:
60/60/50 hour cycle – frequent overtime available
