PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled electronic technician to join our team in partnership with a leader in the aerospace industry. This is a full-time, 9-month consulting opportunity where your expertise will directly support advanced defense systems and contribute to projects shaping the future of aerospace technology. About The Role

As an electronic technician, you'll be part of a high-performing team within the advance test support solutions (ATSS) department. You'll help build and integrate special test equipment, chassis assemblies, and aircraft wire harness systems supporting two major defense programs. Working alongside design engineers and fellow technicians, you'll take pride in producing mission-critical components that ensure reliability, safety, and performance. What You'll Do

Kit, assemble, and build rack-mounted chassis assemblies and test systems. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues to support system build-up and integration. Support testing, configuration, and data collection to enhance manufacturing processes and test methodologies. Interface with engineering teams to support design and build activities. Perform general kitting tasks and coordinate work movement between multiple local sites. Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards while maintaining documentation and reporting progress to project leads. Required Qualifications

Formal electronics training (military or civilian). Hands-on experience performing aircraft wiring repairs, including terminating Amphenol or Cannon plugs by soldering or crimping pins. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency with manual tools, meters, and general test equipment. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the international traffic in arms regulations (ITAR) and/or export administration regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. persons, including U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license. Preferred Qualifications

Active secret (or higher) security clearance. Familiarity with Mil-Std 1553 bus hardware, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters. Experience with aircraft wiring harness fabrication and repair. Current IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification. Why Join Us
