Job Summary
This position provides ongoing student support in the areas of academics including time management, exam success, and tutoring as well as personal management by referring student to appropriate services. The position focuses on the undergraduate and graduate student populations.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Healthcare, Social Science or related field.
2 years experience in healthcare and/or student services.
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook.
Will consider additional related post high school education in lieu of required experience.
Solid understanding of student academic issues/concerns
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students and external constituents
Demonstrated excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Demonstrated excellence in analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as effectively in teams
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Must maintain and respect confidentiality of information
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Healthcare, Social Science, or related field
Experience in a university setting.
Prior experience working with students.
PeopleSoft
Working knowledge of applicable University policies and procedures in student services setting preferred
