General Dentist
Pay Rate: $112/hour 1099 one M-Thu 7-530p and other T-F same hours Claremore location It's outpatient clinic We have a dental assistant budgeted for every chair. 2 hygenists budgeted with 1 currently. We have a pediatric dentist so this general dentist would be seeing adults. Dentrix emr. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and Treat Dental Issues: Examine patients' teeth and gums to identify problems such as cavities, gum disease, and oral cancer. - Perform Dental Procedures: Carry out a variety of treatments, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care like cleanings and sealants. - Patient Education: Advise patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to maintain their dental health. - Collaborate with Dental Team: Work alongside dental hygienists, assistants, and specialists to provide comprehensive care to patients. - Maintain Records: Keep accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school. - Licensure: Active dental license in OK. - Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but new graduates may also be considered. Skills Required
- Clinical Skills: Proficiency in performing a wide range of dental procedures and familiarity with dental technologies. - Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and explain treatment options. - Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in patient records and treatment plans. - Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and address complex dental issues effectively. - Compassionate Care: Provide a comfortable environment for patients, especially those who may be anxious about dental procedures.
