Position Description
This position serves as the senior analyst and fusion‑center liaison between the Detroit SE Michigan Information & Intelligence Center (DSEMIIC) and the Michigan Intelligence Operations Center. In this role, leads critical‑infrastructure analysis, assigns and monitors investigative casework, and directs resources to partner agencies. Provides advanced analytic support, ensuring all assessments, reports, maps, charts, and graphs meet quality standards before dissemination. Coordinates the flow of operational and intelligence information statewide, delivers subject‑matter expertise to law enforcement agencies on complex investigations, and maintains productive working relationships with analytic counterparts and public‑safety partners. This position will perform functions in a bias‑free manner.
Education Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.
Departmental Analyst 12 Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full‑time active‑duty experience at or above the E‑6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.
This position requires passing a pre‑employment screening, including passing a drug screen, criminal history background check, and a fingerprint check by the Michigan State Police.
