Are you commercially minded, relationship-driven, and passionate about the commodities and energy markets?
We’re looking for an experienced
Account Manager
to nurture and grow relationships with clients in the
private equity and financial services
sector across Texas and beyond.
This is a
hybrid hunter/farmer
role — you’ll manage and expand existing key accounts while identifying new commercial opportunities within your network.
About the Role You’ll be responsible for driving engagement, renewals, and growth across a portfolio of clients using our
commodities data, analytics, and technology solutions .
Partnering with portfolio managers, analysts, and deal teams, you’ll help them extract maximum value from our insights, tools, and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow relationships with existing
private equity and financial institution clients
across the commodities and energy sectors.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within accounts — expanding usage and wallet share.
Develop a deep understanding of clients’ investment workflows and market exposures.
Collaborate with product, marketing, and technical teams to ensure client satisfaction and solution alignment.
Maintain a strong market presence across
Houston and Dallas , representing the brand at industry events and client meetings.
Achieve revenue growth and retention targets through proactive account development.
What You Bring
3+ years’ experience in
commodities, energy, or capital markets , ideally serving
financial institutions or private equity clients .
Strong understanding of
commodities trading, energy markets, or data-driven SaaS solutions .
Proven success in a
commercial / client management
role — with experience farming accounts and spotting new business opportunities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Based in
Texas (Houston or Dallas) , with willingness to travel for client engagements.
