Role Overview Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional (CPA or Enrolled Agent). You will serve clients with diverse tax needs, conduct interviews, prepare returns, and grow the business with support from an expert team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
Provide clients with IRS support and tax notice services.
Mentor and support teammates.
Successfully complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
Work in a fast‑paced environment, using virtual tools.
Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
Meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
High school diploma/equivalent or higher.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
Experience with tax planning and audit support.
Sales and/or marketing experience.
Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Ability to work in a virtual environment.
