Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas. Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies. Report problems with the FSMS to responsible managerial employees to initiate corrective actions. Ability to perform and complete repair maintenance, preventive maintenance, and line changeovers. Able to troubleshoot machinery for malfunctions (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, & pneumatic). Able to perform maintenance on all production supporting equipment. Use innovative thinking when troubleshooting equipment in order to minimize production downtime, assure food safety, product quality and personnel safety. Complete, document, and retrieve final approvals on all assigned work orders. Communicate effectively and completely all relevant maintenance and production related information. Assist in training other maintenance personnel. Work collaboratively with all adjacent teams to resolve issues rapidly and drive improvement. Required Skills
Knowledge of GMPs. Understanding of Food Safety Requirements. Must be able to read, understand, and work with machinery blueprints and parts manuals. Good decision making/problem solving skills. Must obtain and maintain forklift certification. Competencies

High school degree or equivalent. Minimum 2 years previous maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred. Working Conditions
Work Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, afternoon, evening, and overnight may be required. Overtime scheduled as needed. Work Environment: Operating in a fast-paced production plant with numerous moving parts. Noise levels require hearing protection and temperatures can get very hot and/or relatively cold. Travel Requirements
May be minimal travel required as needed for training. Physical Requirements
R = Rarely (0-15%) O = Occasionally (16-45%) F = Frequently (46-100%) Stand or Sit Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Lifting 50 lbs. (minimum lbs lifted 5lbs) Carry weight, lift Walking Driving Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance Visual/Sensory: This position requires attention to detail, requiring attention with one or two senses at a time. Coordination and Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise control of equipment. Mental Stress: There is pronounced pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy, or similar demands. Other Duties
