Position Overview We are seeking an experienced

Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager

to lead field safety operations for a new, large-scale

stadium construction project

in

Augusta, Georgia . This role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and enforcing all site safety protocols to ensure a safe and compliant work environment across multiple contractors and trades.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and confident field safety leader who excels at engaging teams, driving compliance, and fostering a strong culture of safety on site.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments throughout the project site.

Lead and deliver orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety trainings for trade partners and subcontractors.

Enforce OSHA, company, and client-specific EHS standards through consistent field presence and communication.

Investigate incidents, document findings, identify root causes, and oversee corrective action implementation.

Maintain accurate site reports, hazard logs, and compliance documentation.

Collaborate with project leadership and contractors to identify and mitigate potential risks before work begins.

Promote continuous improvement in safety performance through engagement, accountability, and training.

Qualifications

OSHA 30

required;

OSHA 510/500 , or equivalent advanced safety certifications preferred.

Minimum

5 years of experience

in construction safety, preferably with large-scale or vertical commercial projects.

Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and high-hazard activities (fall protection, cranes, scaffolding, excavation, electrical).

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence safe behavior on site.

Proven ability to proactively identify hazards and implement effective corrective actions.
