LHH is working a prominent leader in the construction industry that is currently seeking a highly capable Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the Accounting and Reporting functions, contributing to the financial management of their construction projects. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for a range of accounting and financial tasks related to construction projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can prepare and maintain financial records, analyze budgets, and perform various accounting duties.
This position pays 80K-85K+Bonus.
Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate in the preparation of consolidated internal and external financial statements, extracting and evaluating data from the general ledger and departmental sources.
• Develop comprehensive spreadsheet reports and validate information, assisting in decision-making processes.
• Maintain records, files, and reconciliation of general ledger entries while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform reconciliations for both general ledger and bank accounts, ensuring financial accuracy.
• Offer support in project accounting as required, contributing to project-specific financial tracking.
• Interpret financial data and address inquiries, providing valuable insights.
• Contribute to special projects by reviewing financial information, converting and integrating data into the general ledger system, and collecting supplementary data.
• Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive financial information, safeguarding the organization's value.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 3 years of experience within GL Accounting.
Pay Details:
$80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
