Structural Field Engineer
One of our established clients is currently looking to hire an experienced Structural Field Engineer. Responsibilities Evaluate, select, and apply standard construction engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using solid engineering judgment in making decisions Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with regard to construction-related issues identified on drawings Coordinate the completion of construction activities in assigned systems and prepares punch lists to ensure the readiness of systems for release for turnover to the client or for start-up Ensure all applicable safety codes, regulations, and guidelines are met by appropriate design and use of technology Perform quality inspections on-site during construction Facilitate responses to requests for information and quick resolution of issues on site Reviews, maintains records and responds to Contractor Information Requests (CIRs) as assigned Monitors assigned subcontractor(s) for compliance with subcontract technical requirements Monitors technical service representative (supplier) daily logs and reviews/approves their timesheets Key requirements: Four-year college degree in engineering, architecture or construction management required Minimum of 3 years of experience The Field Engineer will need to be familiar with a variety of construction disciplines such as Safety, Estimating, Project Management and Operations
