Sterling Search Partners is helping a rapidly growing client with its search for a Business Development Manager. The client is looking to hire eager sales professionals who are excited to bring in new business, grow the local branch, and participate in an aggressive compensation plan with uncapped commissions and excellent benefits. The ideal candidate will: Have experience in a sales HUNTER role, especially in the area of business-to-business commercial contract sales. Have strong skills in prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments, qualifying and closing business. Take a structured approach to sales. Excel in a commission-based compensation structure with high earning potential. Be comfortable being held accountable for revenue growth. Be tenacious, optimistic, proactive, confident, ambitious, and maintain high work and ethical standards. Be motivated to make an impact and WIN. Major Tasks & Responsibilities: Drive growth through new client acquisition. Develop, estimate, and close commercial maintenance contracts. Cold calling and networking to identify and build sales pipeline. Establish strong relationships with operations personnel to ensure customer needs are met. Develop regional contacts and professional network. Use and maintain a structured sales process and CRM reporting system. Required Skills & Experience: Sales or business development experience with commercial services industries (e.g., enterprise security, heavy equipment rental/sales, commercial cleaning or catastrophe clean-up, commercial property sales or pest control) or other business-to-business situations. Strong relationship building capabilities Self-driven and self-disciplined Must be able to travel within targeted territory (occasional overnight travel outside of target territory may be required) Compensation
Base pay range $50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr Note:
