Overview
Position Title: Product Manager. Location: Los Angeles, CA. Department: Creative Services. Reports To: Director, Product Management. Direct Reports: None. Employment Type: Full Time. Status: Exempt. Role Objectives
This role is fully accountable for the delivery of complex products from cross-functional teams. Contribute to and drive the delivery of the roadmap set by company directors. Work with the Design, Packaging, Engineering, Marketing, Licensing, and new toy planning teams to plan, prioritize, track, and report on the schedule of physical products at different development stages. Ensure effective project management from initial concept and prototyping through to production start and post-sale support. This role is the main contact with internal teams, outsourced design studios worldwide, and the engineering team in Asia. Communicate challenges and potential project risks to senior management, providing solutions where required. Responsibilities
Create, plan, and track project schedules; monitor progress against global new product launches and ensure development timelines are aligned. Drive development teams to begin new product development per the development calendar; facilitate development meetings, communicate action plans, and report status to Product Design, Marketing, and Senior Management. Escalate issues or risks and provide potential solutions. Recommend creative ideas or methods to reduce development lead time and troubleshoot off-track projects. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to communicate changes throughout the development process; manage updates to stakeholders including management, product development, creative, sales and marketing, and regional teams. Ensure product costs stay within target at each milestone; highlight costing issues and support cost reduction efforts to meet brand profit goals. Prepare and coordinate materials for assigned brands at trade shows and key presentations. Support Product Design team to maintain effective communication with licensors, inventors, suppliers, and distributors during product development. Maintain management reports and data integrity in information systems. Perform administrative tasks such as data entry for quoting and product development specifications, scheduling updates, maintaining brand systems, assigning item numbers, and budgeting tracking. Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver assets for Product Development Milestone Meetings, tradeshows, licensor onboarding, and product kick-offs. Organize and manage packaging development cycles, including milestone checkpoints, licensor submissions, QA checklists, and releasing final artwork to factories. Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of project management experience in a consumer product development environment. BS/BE/BA in technical or business field preferred. PM certification a plus. Prior experience in design is highly regarded. Specific knowledge of toy manufacturing, toy terminology, and toy manufacturing processes. Work Hours
8:30am 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday; 8:30am 3:00pm, Friday. 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day. Reasonable additional hours due to multiple time zones. Moose also provides flexible working options. Salary

Regularly required to stand, sit, speak, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment; may need to reach and stoop. Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required due to computer work. Light to moderate lifting may be required. Frequent communication with employees and third parties; must be able to exchange accurate information. Regular, predictable attendance is required. Work Environment
