Our client, a global firearms manufacturer, is looking for a
CNC Operator
to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Note:
You are required to have your own reliable transportation for this position.
Duties
Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and blueprints.
Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to ensure accurate fabrication.
Utilize CAM programming to optimize machine performance and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Use hand tools and measuring instruments to inspect finished products for quality assurance.
Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production targets.
Operate additional machinery such as press brake machines and stamping presses as needed.
Package finished products for shipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Equipment Used The facility operates
Akira Seiki Performa V4.5 4th axis CNC machines
and
Hyundai WIA SE 2200LA Lathe machines . While experience on these specific machines is not mandatory, familiarity with them is considered a plus.
Requirements
At least one year of experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CAD software.
Familiarity with CAM programming techniques is a plus.
Knowledge of hand tools and their applications in machining processes.
Experience with fabrication processes and assembly line operations is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
