Job Title: Social Worker (LMSW) - Adult Behavioral Health / Substance Use Disorder Location: Southgate, MI Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) (or related licensure) to join our Adult Behavioral Health Program. This role focuses on working with adults with substance use disorders and/or mental health diagnoses through individual, family, and group therapy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate cultural competency, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) team while also maintaining independence in their caseload management. Days: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM On-Call: Evening hours required as needed for DBT program clients, including rotating after-hours (7 days/week). Weekend: Some weekends required depending on program needs. Key Responsibilities Maintain caseload of adult clients with mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses. Conduct intake assessments and maintain accurate case records. Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy. Complete authorizations with funding sources in a timely manner. Participate in DBT consultation meetings, groups, and on-call duties. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and a trauma-informed care approach. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while also working independently. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited program. Current Michigan licensure (LLMSW, LMSW, TLLP, Ph.D/LP, LLPC, LPC). Minimum of 1 year experience working with adults in substance use and/or mental health settings. Eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification within 4 months of hire. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain therapeutic relationships. Commitment to obtaining and maintaining DBT certification .
