Serving over 6,000 students across 12 states, ESS brings the level of clinical care typically found in private practice settings directly into public schools. In response to the growing mental health needs of young people, ESS has expanded its offerings to include a full continuum of clinical programming, professional development, and consultative services for districts.
About the Role
ESS is seeking a
Float Clinician
to provide mental-health services to students in partner school districts. The Clinician will have a designated
home school
near their residence and will
travel to surrounding districts
to provide coverage when primary clinicians are unavailable.
Key Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family therapy. Deliver clinical interventions that support emotional and academic stability. Engage families through programming and parent support groups. Coordinate referrals and collaborate with school and ESS teams. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards. Qualifications
Master's degree and active clinical license (LMSW/LCSW, LPCA/LPC, or LMFTA/LMFT) in the state of service. Minimum 2 years' experience with children or adolescents facing behavioral or emotional challenges. Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
