CNC Machinist Set Up/Operator on 1st Shift
to join a great team in
Simpsonville, SC ! This is a small machine shop environment offering a competitive starting pay range from
$18-25 depending on experience.
The CNC Machinist will be aiding in 'build to order' precision machined parts for the Power Generation and Transportation industries.
1st shift Hours: 7am-3:30pm

Perform set up and operate CNC mill and lathe machines. Read and understand drawings and prints to produce parts Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain production rate and quality Modify existing machine tool programs at control interface Inspect part characteristics at in-process and final check points ⢠Set-up and/or breakdown equipment, fixtures, tooling, etc for production parts. Proficiently produce finished parts at the highest standards Perform First Piece and routine in-process inspections within the scope of Quality guidelines. Monitor part quality and conformance as needed during each production run Look for, resolve/report product quality defects, quantity discrepancies, documentation errors, etc CNC Machinist Qualifications:
Verifiable High School Diploma/GED 3+ years of CNC Lathe experience Must be able to read and interpret blueprints Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
