Senior Tax Accountant

StaffBuffalo is partnering with a well-respected public accounting firm on a search for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing team in Orchard Park, NY. This full-time, in-person role offers a competitive salary of $75,000-$95,000 per year, depending on experience, and provides an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, client-focused environment that values precision, efficiency, and long-term relationships.

The successful Senior Tax Accountant will bring 4+ years of public accounting tax experience, exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the expertise to prepare and review Complex Individual, Corporate, and Partnership Returns. This role will focus on preparing and reviewing complex Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, and Partnership Tax Returns, managing Tax Planning Strategies, and supervising junior staff to ensure quality and compliance.

This is an in-person position in Orchard Park, NY, offering the opportunity to work with diverse industries while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and service.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review Complex Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, and Partnership Tax Returns. Oversee Tax Planning, Compliance, and Reporting in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Supervise, mentor, and provide feedback to associates. Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analysis, reconciliations, and reporting. Research and resolve complex tax issues, providing clear, timely recommendations to clients. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required or actively in progress. 4+ years of public accounting tax experience. Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with professional tax preparation software. Strong organizational, analytical, and written communication skills. Benefits:
