Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 - 17:30)
Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. Ideal candidates will have experience in handling complex cardiac procedures and providing direct patient care in a high-stakes environment. As part of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring patients during their procedures and ensuring their safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
Administer procedural sedation to patients while monitoring vital signs and comfort levels.
Perform various cardiac procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, and placement/removal of cardiac devices such as IABP and Impella.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Circulate during procedures and assist in scrubbing and monitoring when necessary.
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, and ensure effective ventilator management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of registered nursing experience in a cardiac cath lab or similar setting.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Experience with conscious sedation and telemetry is preferred.
PA or compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
