School Occupational Therapist ($50-60/hour)

to support students in a private school serving grades K-12 in the Palatine, IL area. This position offers flexibility, with a commitment of 2-2.5 days a week, to meet the needs of students who participate in school in various ways: at home, in school, or virtually. Why Join Us? At

Qualifications: Master's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy IL OT license Previous experience working with children in school or home settings Role Overview: As an OT, you will play a vital role in assessing students' needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing interventions that promote their academic, social, and physical success. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a supportive school environment. Job Details: Schedule: 2-2.5 days a week, your choice of days Dates: ASAP for the school year Hours: Flexible, as per the needs of the students Setting: At school and some home visits; mileage will be reimbursed Caseload: K-12 years old exhibiting various challenges; currently a small caseload but a waitlist exists In-person only Key Responsibilities: Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to develop individualized therapy plans. Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions based on students' IEPs, supporting their achievement of academic and developmental goals. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to the unique needs of each student.
