About the Role & Work Location
We are looking for a skilled
Email Marketing Developer
to manage the full lifecycle of our client's email campaigns, from concept and development to implementation and performance analysis. This role requires an expert blend of creative conversion (Figma/design to HTML) and advanced personalization logic using
AMPscript
within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, alongside proficiency in HubSpot operations.
This position will be
fully remote
until the team transitions into the new T+L building
in downtown Orlando . Hybrid Schedule Post-Transition:
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in-office; Thursday and Friday remote (WFH). Key Responsibilities
The Developer will be responsible for building highly responsive and dynamic digital communications that drive customer engagement and meet business objectives.
Convert high-fidelity design assets (e.g., Figma files, wireframes, images) into fully responsive, mobile-optimized HTML emails. Design, build, and maintain a robust library of modular email templates for maximum scalability and reuse across various campaigns. Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to ensure all communications are visually compelling and strictly aligned with brand guidelines. Implement and manage automated, trigger-based, and transactional campaign delivery via HubSpot workflows. Crucially,
implement, troubleshoot, and optimize AMPscript
for advanced personalization, dynamic content, and complex data-driven logic within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). Conduct rigorous
Quality Assurance (QA)
and rendering tests using tools like
Litmus
to guarantee flawless cross-client email compatibility. Ensure all email practices adhere to best practices for accessibility, mobile optimization, and international compliance regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR). Assist with light front-end web development tasks, including campaign-related landing page updates or microsites, as needed. Provide technical and creative insights based on performance data to continuously enhance campaign outcomes and digital marketing effectiveness. Manage project timelines, revisions, and stakeholder expectations to ensure all deadlines are met. Required Qualifications
Technical Expertise & Platforms
Expert-level knowledge of HTML/CSS
specifically for email development and adherence to email client best practices. MANDATORY: MUST HAVE experience with AMPscript
for personalization and dynamic content generation. Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC):
Proven proficiency with Content Builder, Data Extensions, and working knowledge of Journey Builder, Triggered Sends, Automation Studio, and Query Activities (SQL). HubSpot:
Proficiency with the drag-and-drop builder, custom templates, and working knowledge of HubL for email modules, HubSpot CRM, segmentation, personalization tokens, smart content, and workflows. Familiarity with supporting platform migration efforts (template migration, workflow mapping, and data modeling). Experience & Education
Minimum of
three (3) years
of professional experience in email development, digital design, and brand execution. Strong background in marketing, advertising, and digital customer experience delivery. Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Website Design, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. (Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree). Key Competencies & Mindset
Excellent troubleshooting ability and a strong QA mindset, essential for resolving complex personalization or automation issues. Solid grasp of web design principles and foundational understanding of general front-end web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript). Comfortable interpreting email and automation performance data (analytics dashboards, reporting tools) and applying insights to optimize future strategies. Exceptional ability to coordinate, prioritize, and efficiently accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
