We are currently seeking an experienced
Plumbing Estimator
to join our estimating team. This role will focus on developing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial plumbing projects in new constructio n . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, plan and specification review, takeoffs, and cost analysis for large-scale commercial or multifamily projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial plumbing systems on new construction projects.
Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to obtain accurate pricing and ensure complete bids.
Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
Participate in pre-construction meetings and assist in design-build efforts as needed.
Manage multiple bids concurrently under tight deadlines.
Requirements:
3+ years of plumbing estimating experience within commercial construction.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and construction methods.
Experience with digital takeoff and estimating software.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field .
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Team-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude.
