Position Summary:
Campbell County seeks a Victim/Witness Coordinator to perform a variety of professional duties involved in providing victim services related to criminal prosecution; to serve as liaison between the victims/witnesses and the attorney; to prepare victims and witnesses for testifying in court; to provide education on the criminal justice system and available victim services; to compile restitution figures and victim impact statements; to communicate with other agencies regarding the needs of victims of crime; to collect critical documentation, including valid medical releases, medical records, and billing; and other duties as assigned.
Pay grade: 109
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field. One (1) to three (3) years of experience. Complete a background check, if requested. Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
