Availability:
Monday-Friday, 3pm-7:30pm; Occasional Saturdays and late Fridays.
Position Summary:
Create a safe, culturally appropriate and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies, practices and procedures. Provide direction for the program and staff. May create staff schedules and provide department administrative support as needed. Run after school teen programs both at the Y and at various local school sites. Support at Teen Summer Camp during Summer months.
Job Duties/Responsibilities: Supervise the participants and all activities Oversee after school Teen Center at the Y Support and run afterschool teen programs at the Y and local schools. Maintain effective relationships with participants, members, and staff Design and implement culturally responsive activity plans Provide department administrative support, maintain required program records Maintain program site and equipment Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications:
Minimum age 21 Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills Ability to coach and lead staff Basic computer skills/knowledge required Fluency in second language desired Drivers License Y Culture:

Requirements
Must be able to travel to local schools to run afterschool programs.
Must be 21 years old and able to learn to drive YMCA mini-bus.
Must have had a drivers license for at least 2 years to be eligible to get mini-bus certified.
