Job Summary The Continuous Improvement Specialist focuses on enhancing transactional processes within the organization by applying continuous improvement methodologies. This role involves identifying opportunities for process optimization, leading problem-solving sessions, and implementing solutions to streamline operations. This role works closely with various teams to drive change initiatives, monitor performance improvements, and ensure the adoption and sustainability of best practices. Their efforts are crucial in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence in transactional activities. Responsibilities

Process Analysis and Improvement: Review and evaluate existing processes Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies Design and implement streamlined processes Conduct process audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness Data Analysis And Reporting: Collect and analyze data from various sources Identify trends and patterns Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings Use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement efforts Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies Communicate changes and their impact to stakeholders Provide training and support to employees during implementation Monitor and address any challenges or resistance to change Continuous Improvement Culture: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization Identify and implement best practices Facilitate regular improvement meetings and discussions Encourage and implement employee suggestions for improvement Provide training and resources to foster a continuous improvement mindset High Impact Behaviors: Strategic Vision and Foresight: Develop and communicate a clear vision for the future, anticipate trends, and prepare the organization to adapt to changes, aligning team efforts with long-term objectives. Mentorship and Talent Development: Actively mentor junior colleagues, support career development opportunities, and share knowledge. Influential Leadership: Influence and inspire others, build relationships with key stakeholders, and communicate effectively. Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or other field with at least 5 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. Strong ability to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions. Experience in managing projects from inception to completion, including defining scope, timelines, and deliverables. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate process changes and collaborate with team members. Familiarity with data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, Minitab, or other statistical packages. Ability to work effectively in a team and foster a cooperative work environment. Flexibility to adapt to new ideas and changes in processes. Preferred Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Lean Program certification. The estimated salary range for this position is $115,000 to $125,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
