Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Commerce, TX. This is a full-time, school-based position that will run now through the end of the current school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with students from K-12, helping them to overcome speech and language challenges, and promoting effective communication skills within a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy to students from K-12 in a school setting. Evaluate and assess students' speech, language, and communication needs. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure student success. Provide direct and consultative services to students with speech-language impairments. Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records. Attend IEP meetings and provide updates on student progress as needed. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred. Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Benefits:
