Description Leidos is in search of a

Lead Technical Sales

professional for our Enterprise Digital Experience (EDX) Practice. POSITION SUMMARY: As the Lead Technical Sales, you will shape and implement the technical sales strategy for the EDX Practice within our Digital Modernization Sector, collaborating closely with practice leadership. Your expertise in commercial products (including SaaS, PaaS, ISV) and deep market knowledge will enable you to drive significant revenue growth. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships rooted in trust and understanding will be essential to align our Mission Drivers with government needs. You will also leverage your thought leadership and awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies to make informed strategies. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: No initial clearance is required to start, but candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive sales of EDX Practice Mission Drivers specifically tailored to address customer needs through collaboration with various departments including Practices, BD, Account Management, OOT, and Leidos sectors. Fuel revenue growth and expand the practice's footprint within the government contracting sector by promoting Mission Drivers (repeatable frameworks, capabilities, solutions, and services). Oversee every aspect of the sales cycle, which includes regular client engagements and conducting pipeline reviews with key stakeholders. Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy by identifying prospective customers, nurturing relationships, and effectively positioning our solutions to meet government demands. Maintain thought leadership via continuous education on current EDX trends and emerging technologies. Stay updated on the EDX Practice Mission Drivers, consistently enhancing your knowledge of new technologies and industry trends. Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to promote the latest technical capabilities and repeatable offerings from the practice area.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience and professional training relevant to the role. A minimum of 15 years of experience in sales or business development, showing a proven track record of crafting tailored solutions to meet client needs. Experience in commercial product sales either for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) or Software as a Service (SaaS). Strong understanding of how to position commercial products with government clients, particularly in respect to the demand for commercial solutions and the utilization of OTAs/CSOs. Proven history of managing and leading all stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and contract completion. Exceptional ability to bridge technical and non-technical conversations, clearly communicating value propositions and advantages of our offerings. Pay Range: $148,850.00 - $269,075.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
