Start ASAP! ⏱️ Title: CT Technologist - MSBI - Contract Location: 325 W 15th St, New York, NY 10011 Shift Timings: 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week (37.5 hours/week) Duration (with high possibility of extension): 13 weeks Req ID: 36540628 Job Description: Requires the utilization of appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic CT images. Performs daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment before any patient study is performed. Injects patients with radioactive material as per the physician’s order following prescribed protocols. Observes all department documentation policies and complies with regulatory requirements. Performs quality control, assurance, and safety tests following ALARA radiation safety guidelines. Maintains and retrieves patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation. Orders and verifies radiopharmaceutical doses according to policy and procedure. Certification Required: New York State License (L.R.T), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and CT, and BLS certification. Skills Required: Minimum of 1 year of CT experience; graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program. Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross:
