Production Technician

within the

Live Entertainment Department , you will be integral to the development and execution of thrilling new shows, attractions, and events. This role presents an exciting chance to leverage your experience in an amusement park environment, working on teams dedicated to constructing, setting up, operating, and dismantling live shows and events. Your key responsibilities will include interpreting and implementing plans and blueprints, translating designer concepts into practical builds for our productions. In this position, you'll assemble and install structures, equipment, and infrastructure while adhering to high standards of quality and safety. Proficiency with hand and power tools is a must, as you will operate various equipment, including golf carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and construction machinery. You'll collaborate with team members to create unforgettable experiences for our guests, showcasing our commitment to making people happy. 18 years or older

and are enthusiastic about contributing to the excitement at Carowinds. Responsibilities: Construct, set up, operate, and dismantle live shows and events. Interpret and implement plans and blueprints effectively. Transform designer concepts into functional sets and structures. Assemble and install equipment and infrastructure with minimal supervision. Operate various equipment, including golf carts, forklifts, and lifts. Work independently or collaboratively to meet project objectives. Undertake additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Previous experience in a fully equipped theater or similar production environment. Valid Driver's License. Strong judgment skills and a focus on safety. Capable of engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Genuine enthusiasm for Carowinds and its mission. Willingness to work some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
