Senior ETL Developer
Our client is seeking a Senior ETL Developer to join their company for a contract to hire position. The ETL expert will design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and SQL.
Locations & Compensation
Location: Onsite in Tempe, AZ, Minneapolis, MN, or Charlotte, NC
Compensation: $70-80 / hr W2 plus benefits
Client does not offer H1B sponsorship at time of conversion to permanent employee
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain ETL data pipelines to facilitate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective ETL solutions.
Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, quality, and pipeline performance.
Document ETL processes, workflows, and configurations for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Contribute to the migration of existing ETL workflows onto future platforms, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in ETL development and data integration technologies.
What Gets You the Job
Proficiency in Azure services, particularly Azure Data Factory or similar ETL tools.
Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
Demonstrated experience in designing and building ETL data pipelines from diverse data sources.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI / CD pipelines is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
