We are currently recruiting highly qualified candidates for part‑time, in‑person Teacher Development Field Coaches for National Louis University’s Undergraduate College (UGC) Educator Preparation Program. These coaches will serve as representatives to school/district partners, providing in‑person and virtual support to a caseload of early childhood, elementary, and/or secondary teacher candidates (4‑6 students) over the course of a 10‑week quarter term.
Overview National Louis University’s Undergraduate College focuses on supporting first‑generation students with a holistic student model. Our educational approach is data‑driven and personalized, aiming for continuous improvement and innovation.

Essential Responsibilities
Conduct in‑person teaching observations and feedback sessions (two per 10‑week term) at teacher candidates’ assigned center/school following NLU protocols.
Facilitate ongoing virtual discussions regarding student goals, assessments, and course requirements with the site‑based mentor teacher and teacher candidate.
Provide feedback on assignments to student teachers utilizing Brightspace/D2L and/or GoReact software.
Serve as a liaison between NLU and the center/school/district by developing relationships with site leadership and mentor teachers that support NLU’s mission.
Attend required NLU/UGC Ed Prep professional development (additional stipend provided).
Must be able to travel for in‑person coaching positions (mileage reimbursed).
Qualifications
Master’s degree required.
Bilingual preferred (Spanish).
State of Illinois licensure preferred (Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary Language Arts, Secondary Mathematics).
Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience.
Prior instructional coaching/mentor teaching experience preferred.
