JCM Associates, Inc. is hiring Plumbing Foremen for full time year-round positions in commercial mechanical construction projects in the MD, VA, and DC area.
JCM Associates, Inc. provides mechanical services throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan area. We take pride in every project we take on and strive to communicate and accomplish the goals each one of our clients sets out to achieve. These services include new construction, renovation and maintenance of HVAC and Plumbing systems for plan-spec, design-build and design-assist commercial and high-rise residential buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Project Managers and other staff to ensure all manpower and material requirements of the job are where they need to be, on time
Work with mechanics, helpers and other foremen to build a high level of team work and morale
Build strong customer relationships when the job dictates
Maintains safe work environment
Provide daily direction and training to apprentices
Blueprint Reading, layout and planning of the day to day duties
Ensure projects are completed on time and within set budget
Supervise employees and subcontractors
Safety plan management including training and enforcement of safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and harassment-free work environment
Work hands on to complete projects
Knowledge of Commercial HVAC systems a plus
Minimum Skills/Requirements:
10-15 years of experience building commercial mechanical projects
Ability to supervise and manage a 30-person crew
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems a plus
Ability to read, understand and work from drawings, specifications and schematics
Understands written and verbal instructions
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Attendance, reliability, dependability and flexibility
