Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience and current California licensure for an acute care hospital assignment.
Responsibilities Work in a CT department within an acute care hospital Shift times include day (6:00-18:30) and night (17:00-5:30), with start times at 6:00, 8:00, 15:00, or 17:00 Self-scheduling is based on seniority and all shift times must be accepted Patient assignments are 1:1 No floating required between units, but may be expected to float between facilities within the state Charting is done using Epic EMR; proficiency required No on-call required Block scheduling is subject to unit needs Locals are accepted at the same rate with a local radius rule of 50 miles Must commit to working at least 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) All required time off must be requested at the time of application Former staff may return as travelers after 3 months and cannot submit if residing within 50 miles Scrub color for RNs is navy blue; other areas may have scrubs provided Free parking is available First-time travelers are welcome to apply Completion of pre-start and annual modules required, averaging 16 hours
Requirements Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a CT Technologist Current BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, and CT certifications required California state license must be held at the time of consideration; no temporary licenses accepted Experience with Epic EMR required License required if applicable
