The Accounting Specialist will play a key role in day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process and record daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing procedures. Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date. Generate and distribute customer invoices; follow up on outstanding balances. Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements. Support the Accounting Manager with budget preparation and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Provide support for annual audits and tax filings. Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar). Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation & Benefits
