We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior RF Module Design Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing discrete transmit/receive (Tx/Rx) RF modules for cutting-edge radar applications. We seek an experienced professional with a solid foundation in RF circuit design, system integration, and performance optimization, who is passionate about taking designs from concept to production. Key Responsibilities: Design, simulate, and develop discrete RF Tx/Rx modules for advanced radar systems. Conduct RF system-level analysis, link budget calculations, and thorough trade-off studies. Select and integrate key components including mixers, amplifiers, oscillators, and filters. Perform schematic capture and PCB layout reviews, collaborating closely with layout engineers to ensure high-frequency performance. Conduct laboratory testing, tuning, and validation of RF modules to meet and exceed specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering, for seamless product integration. Support troubleshooting efforts and conduct root cause analysis for performance anomalies. Maintain detailed documentation of design decisions, test results, and compliance requirements. Compensation Range:

$99,100 - $128,800 The compensation range is a general guideline and factors such as role responsibilities, location, market considerations, and the candidate's work experience will be taken into account when extending an offer. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field. 5-8 years of experience in RF design, specifically in radar or similar high-frequency applications (L, S, C, and X band). Expertise in RF simulation tools (e.g., Keysight ADS, HFSS, CST, or similar). Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, PADS, Allegro). Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters). Strong understanding of RF/microwave circuit theory, including impedance matching, noise figure, and gain optimization. Experience with PCB design for RF and microwave circuits. Familiarity with military or aerospace standards for RF systems is a plus. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance. Preferred Skills: In-depth knowledge of phased-array radar architectures. Understanding of electronics packaging concepts. Familiarity with thermal and mechanical considerations in high-frequency module packaging. Benefits: Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance for employees and dependents. Generous paid time off including at least 3 weeks of vacation, 5 floating holidays, and 8 designated holidays. Parental leave and personal illness leave. 401(k) with immediate vesting on employer match, along with tuition and student loan assistance. Wellness programs and an employee stock purchase program with employer match. Join us in our mission to create a safer, more sustainable world through advanced technology and systems.
