Description

1. Serve as the Administrative Operations Coordinator under the administrative guidance of the Assistant Director and Senior Director of the Missouri Safety Center 2. Provide coordination of the following programs: - Statewide Surveys - Law Enforcement Liaison 3. Provide administrative backup support for the following: - Financial Operations Coordinator 4. Support the Crisis and Disaster Management (CDM) program under the direction of the Senior Director Examples of Duties Coordinate the Center's Statewide Survey Programs: Coordinate state and national survey programs for various statewide projects in support of the Assistant Director Support Assistant Director in development/design of research methodology, protocol, and survey instrumentation Coordinate temporary staff used in the survey programs including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling and monitoring progress at the direction of the Assistant Director Monitor grant budgets and report back to Assistant Director Ensure operational compliance with all grant requirements and reporting Continually monitor and evaluate programs to ensure compliance with all authorities Responsible for computer program applications used in data analysis Prepare and oversee for submission; monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required Responsible for annual grant submissions to ensure continued funding of programs, under the direction of Assistant Director Complete required reports for compliance with grant authority, Center, and University guidelines Provide program analysis and participate in strategic and long-range planning of future programming Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of all reimbursement documents for Temp Employees Continuously monitor programs and evaluations for improvement Coordinate the State's Law Enforcement Liaison program:

Responsible for the administration of the State's Law Enforcement Liaison programs including all grant related activities through a federal grant with the MoDOT-Highway Safety and Traffic Division under the direction of the Assistant Director Supervise three state Law Enforcement Liaison's under the direction of the Assistant Director Monitor grant budgets and report back to Assistant Director Ensure operational compliance with all grant requirements and reporting Prepare and complete submissions; monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required Responsible for annual grant submissions to ensure continued funding of programs Complete required reports for compliance with grant authority, Center, and University guidelines Maintain LEL equipment inventory Assist with creation of promotional/operational items including process manuals and STEM handbook Provide program analysis and participate in strategic and long-range planning of future programming Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of all reimbursement documents for LEL's Continuously monitor programs and evaluations for improvement Assist with other activities as needed Provide back-up to the Financial Operations Coordinator:

Provide billing, invoicing, and vouchering assistance on all grant-related and non-grant activities Provide back-up assistance with deposits and other financial activities Provide back-up for expense reporting support for all Missouri Safety Center programs Other support as needed Support the Crisis and Disaster Management program (CDM):

Provide administrative support for the CDM program Responsible for CDM email communications - review, respond, and forward as necessary Responsible for mail, supply ordering, copies, recruitment literature and program promotional items Maintain appropriate designated databases of information about CDM, including but not limited to adjuncts contracts, course progress in conjunction with the CDM coordinator and Sr. Director/Chair Maintain files Monitor and assist with special projects Assist Students and customers who request information and wish to enroll in CDM courses Assist Senior Director/Chair with other operations and special projects Typical Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent Associate's degree preferred Office administration, Business, or related field, preferred. Experience may be substituted for education. Note that equivalencies are based on the following: AA = 2 years' experience; BA/BS = 4 years' experience; MA/MS = 6 years' experience.

Experience:

Two (2) years administrative support required. One (1) year of budget experience required.
