Senior Process Engineering Manager Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop the Process Engineering team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives. Design, analyze, and optimize manufacturing and process systems for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to identify opportunities for process enhancements. Collaborate with facilities and operations teams to develop long-term strategic plans supporting business growth. Manage external consultants and contractors involved in engineering projects, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and budget constraints. Lead major projects such as system installations, process reengineering, and infrastructure improvements. Conduct time studies, data analysis, root cause investigations, and support documentation to inform decision-making. Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within the organization. Prepare and manage department budgets, monitor expenditures, and optimize resource allocation. Communicate effectively with senior leadership, facilitating alignment of process initiatives with strategic business goals. Ensure data privacy and security policies are adhered to in handling consumer and customer data. Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of team members. Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or related operations. Proven leadership experience, with strong skills in team development and project management. Expertise in process design, control, and optimization, with practical experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies. Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and statistical software (e.g., Minitab). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders. Knowledge of current manufacturing technologies and quality systems. Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or PMP highly desirable. Valid driver's license with ability to travel up to 20% domestically. Ability to analyze complex data, implement process improvements, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
