Position Overview
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be an essential part of the property operations team, helping to keep the community running smoothly and looking its best. You’ll tackle work orders, help get apartments ready for new , and perform general repairs that make a real difference in ' day-to-day experiences. If you’re dependable, hands-on, and take pride in your work, we’d love to have you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
Repair & Maintenance
• Complete work orders in both occupied and vacant apartments with professionalism and care.
• Ensure apartments are clean and tidy after maintenance work is completed.
• Leave clear entry notices and updates for after visits.
• Follow up on open or ongoing work orders until resolved.
• Assist with basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance installation tasks.
Make-Readies & Preventive Tasks
• Prepare vacant units for move-ins according to company standards.
• Maintain key control and security for unit access.
• Keep tools and equipment organized, clean, and secure.
• Help monitor inventory and communicate supply needs.
• Support the preventive maintenance program and track routine checks.
Safety & Compliance
• Follow OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Maintain a safe, drug-free, and professional work environment.
• Report safety issues, hazards, or needed repairs promptly.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency maintenance as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience in general maintenance (multifamily ).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• HVAC certification .
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work indoors and outdoors.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
