Responsibilities:
Assist with the pre-qualification of bidders (including capabilities, capacities, and financial studies), monitor, and track contractors’ compliance with the Company’s Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), Quality, and Finance procedures. Establish and maintain procurement files in accordance with Balfour Beatty Infrastructure’s practices. Prepare, maintain, retrieve, and communicate records, reports, or documents required to meet corporate and Procurement Management requirements. Obtain quotes and process purchase orders/requisitions for material requests. Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best value. Coordinate the timely issuance, distribution, or response of information, invoices, and correspondence. Review cost proposals and pricing information based on delegated approval authority. Confirm that terms and delivery dates are accurate. Monitor inventory and purchase inventory based on authorized approval levels. Organize and document communications and meetings with contractors. Gather and compile data essential to the formation and administration of contracts. Assist with implementing Procurement Management best practices and monitor completion of assigned tasks. Assist in organizing the project warehouse. Develop standard instructions for bidders and contract templates. Participate in the preparation and issuance of award notifications. Assist in preparing and issuing monthly and quarterly reports and inspections as required. Establish and maintain communication with business partners. Adhere to and support Balfour Beatty Infrastructure's Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS), and Sustainability Policies. Other duties as assigned. Preferred Education/Skills and Experience:
Associates degree preferred and 3 years of work-related experience, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to 5 years if non-degreed. Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. Technical knowledge necessary to complete the job. Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work with large product numbers and data sets. Ability to attend to detail and work efficiently within time constraints. About us Balfour Beatty US
