Senior Network Administrator

to support the

Presidential Helicopter Software Support Activity . This role involves configuring and maintaining complex network environments, supporting mission-critical avionics systems, and ensuring the integrity and availability of network and server resources. Position Type:

Full-Time Salary:

$129k-$148k annually (depending upon experience) Work Location:

Onsite. Essential Functions Configure and maintain Cisco equipment, Voice over IP systems, and virtual server environments. Support and manage unique avionics systems for mission-critical operations. Install, configure, and maintain LANs, data communications networks, operating systems, and physical/virtual servers. Monitor systems and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources. Review system/application logs and ensure completion of scheduled jobs, including backups. Analyze resource consumption and manage user access controls. Install and upgrade software; maintain software licenses. Lead network emulation/virtualization efforts and coordinate between hardware and software systems. Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical strategy. Perform other duties as assigned or required. Requirements Required: Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention technologies. Minimum 7+ years of experience in IP networking design and architecture. Extensive experience with virtual IOS environments. Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-security environment. Desired: Experience with Cisco Call Manager CUCM, Cisco Meeting Server, desired. Cisco CCNA Certification, or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification is desired. Experience with avionics systems or mission-critical military environments.
